The Unicel FG-1004 is a complete DE filter grid manifold assembly engineered as a direct replacement for the Hayward DEX4800MAN service component, supplying the central collection hub that ties individual grid sectors into the filter outlet standpipe. The manifold is molded from glass-reinforced polypropylene for chemical resistance and dimensional stability under sustained pressure cycling, with integrated grid ports machined to accept standard DE sector necks without adapter hardware. Designed for ProGrid, Micro-Clear, and equivalent grid-style DE filter housings, the FG-1004 maintains internal flow geometry consistent with OEM specifications to prevent flow imbalance across the grid set.
