Nominal filtration efficiency is 20 microns under standard test conditions. Dimensional specifications conform to the Hayward CX850RE family: 7.0-inch OD, 2.125-inch ID, 30.875-inch length, with ABS injection-molded end caps in a closed-bottom, open-flow-top configuration seated on a 2.125-inch Schedule-40 PVC core. Rated flow is 106 GPM at clean operating differential, with maximum continuous service temperature of 104°F and operating pressure range to 25 PSI. Pleat geometry and end cap bond are engineered for bypass-free seating across the full service cycle.

Service interval recommendation: pressure-differential-based replacement triggered at ΔP ≥ 8–10 PSI above clean-filter operating baseline, or on an annual calendar cycle, whichever occurs first. Rinse with fresh water every 4–6 weeks during the active season; chemical soak (TSP solution or commercial enzyme cleaner) every 3–6 months to remove accumulated oils and organic load that resist standard rinsing. For calcium scale, the element is compatible with muriatic acid soak at 1:20 dilution (20-minute maximum exposure) followed by thorough fresh-water rinse; ABS end cap adhesive on this element tolerates standard acid wash procedures. Chlorine tolerance: continuous service at ≤ 10 ppm free available chlorine. After installation, verify housing O-ring seating and confirm clean-filter operating pressure against baseline before returning the system to automatic service.
