The element is constructed with molded ABS end caps — closed bottom, open top with integral handle — seated on a rigid PVC core for axial stability under sustained operating loads. Nominal filtration efficiency is 20 microns under standard test conditions. End cap bond chemistry is UV-stabilized and rated for continuous service at standard pool water chemistry; operating temperature ceiling is 104°F. The 100 sq ft media area provides ample headroom for residential and light commercial circulation rates, supporting extended runtime between service cycles and reduced ΔP rise per unit of debris loading.

Service interval: rinse at 4–6 week intervals or upon ΔP rise of 8–10 PSI above clean-filter operating baseline, whichever occurs first; chemical soak (dilute TSP or commercial enzyme cleaner) every 3–6 months to remove bound oils and surfactants that resist standard rinse.
