Standard DE loading: 6.0 lb diatomaceous earth at initial precoat (1.0 lb per 10 sq ft × 60 sq ft system rating when used in full grid-set replacement). Operating pressure range: 8–30 PSI with a clean differential baseline typically 10–14 PSI. The grid assembly is dimensionally matched to the Hayward Quad DE 60 collector manifold and tank seat geometry for confirmed bypass-free installation.

Service interval recommendation: backwash when ΔP rises 5–8 PSI above clean baseline; recharge DE media after each backwash cycle at the 1.0 lb / 10 sq ft loading ratio.
