Overview

The Unicel 6CH-925 is a pleated polyester spa cartridge filter element providing 25.0 sq ft of filtration area through a Reemay nonwoven polyester media pack with SAE thread end cap configuration. Dimensional specifications: 5-inch OD, 1.5-inch SAE threaded base port, 2.0-inch open top, 8.0-inch overall length, supporting low-flow, high-temperature spa circulation applications. Construction features ABS injection-molded end caps with a closed-top/threaded-bottom geometry compatible with the Waterway top-load skim filter manifold standard, seated on a structurally rigid PVC core. Nominal filtration efficiency: 15 microns under standard test conditions. Maximum continuous operating temperature: 115°F; rated pressure range 5–15 PSI, consistent with residential spa pump head specifications. End cap adhesive is UV-stabilized and chemically inert under standard spa water chemistry.
