- Thermometer calibration instructions: Place the thermometer indoors for 24 hours with a known ambient temperature. This will allow you to compare temperature readouts. If an adjustment is needed, remove the black plastic casing on the back of the thermometer face, and rotate the round white plastic unit clockwise or counterclockwise until your temperature readout matches that of the indoor temperature. Place the black cover back on the casing and you’re all set!
