The element features a threaded SAE bottom adapter and handle-style top cap, sized to the standard Caldera large-format housing footprint. End cap bond is rated for continuous service at spa operating temperatures up to 104°F, with intermittent excursions to 120°F per Unicel testing protocol. The 50 sq ft media pack provides extended dirt-holding capacity suited to high-bather-load spa applications and reduced service frequency relative to lower-area equivalents.

Service interval recommendation: rinse with fresh water every 2–4 weeks; chemical soak in dilute TSP or commercial enzyme/degreaser every 4–6 weeks to displace oils, lotions, and surfactant residues that resist water rinsing.
