End caps are ABS injection-molded for chemical resistance and dimensional stability under sustained spa operating temperatures up to 104°F. Nominal filtration efficiency falls within the 20-micron range under standard test conditions, providing the surface area and dirt-holding capacity required for high-bather-load spa environments and small-volume above-ground pool circulation loops.

Service interval recommendation: rinse with fresh water every 2–4 weeks under typical spa duty cycles; chemical soak (dilute TSP or commercial enzyme cleaner) every 4–6 weeks to remove accumulated body oils, surfactants, and cosmetic residues that resist rinse-only cleaning.
